For our company in the promising compressor manufacturing business, we are looking for a committed and passionate Sustainability Project Manager to play a key role in driving our 2027 Mid-Range Plan forward.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee group sustainability projects and activities across environmental, social, and governance topics
* Collaborate closely with local units and key business functions to coordinate and drive decarbonization and sustainability integration initiatives
* Incorporate sustainability into procurement and supply chain management processes
* Monitor and analyze emerging sustainability requirements and their impact on our business
* Develop tailored approaches for upcoming legal, customer, and stakeholder requirements, including Scope 3 emission reduction strategies
* Raise employee awareness and engagement through presentations, trainings, and communication platforms
* Respond to business inquiries and manage customer and investor evaluations and assessments
* Support data collection and evaluation for the annual sustainability report following GRI and CSRD guidelines
About You:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in Sustainability Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent education
* 2-4 years of relevant experience in sustainability and project management, specifically in greenhouse gas emissions and non-financial disclosure
* Demonstrated understanding of business contexts, organizational development, and a strong affinity for numbers and structured working practices
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, enabling you to co-create solutions by linking technical knowledge with business needs
* Experience in a technical environment is an advantage
* Fluent English language skills (presenting, writing, personal contact) are essential; German language skills are a plus
* Willingness to travel up to 5%
