Job Description:
You will be responsible for the operational execution and processes of our company Group. This includes defining standards and policies for Accounting and Reporting (A&R), validating and processing subsidiaries' inputs, and preparing Group public reports. You will also be subject matter expert on specific A&R topics such as ASC revenue recognition, goodwill and intangible assets, and provisions for industrial companies.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Execute and maintain operational processes in accordance with defined standards and policies.
* Validate and process subsidiaries' inputs and prepare Group public reports.
* Provide technical accounting expertise on specific A&R topics.
* Research and prepare technical accounting memos for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
* Organize and facilitate training on accounting and reporting matters.
* Maintain internal controls over financial reporting and perform control activities in compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
Your Profile:
To succeed in this role, you should have a U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, accompanied by at least five years of experience in technical accounting and financial reporting according to US GAAP and SEC standards. Additionally, you should have international work experience in a multinational company in the industrial sector, with experience in finance project management involving significant change management. Proficiency in English is required, and other languages are an added advantage.
