Job Title: Principal Scientist – Crop Protection Research Chemistry
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Scientist to lead our crop protection research chemistry efforts.
Your Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with local and global experts in multidisciplinary project teams to drive discovery programs for sustainable crop protection solutions.
* Lead and contribute to chemistry research projects, applying state-of-art target-based discovery approaches to identify and optimize novel bioactive ingredients interacting with relevant biological targets for crop protection.
* Analyze and deconvolute complex structure-activity-relationships (SAR) by integrating experimental and predicted data to meet key project deliverables.
* Drive scientific advancement and technological innovation in modern agrochemical discovery through the development and application of cutting-edge skills and technologies.
What We're Looking For:
* A deep understanding of organic chemistry, chemical biology or medicinal chemistry through doctoral training, with postdoctoral and/or industrial experience valued but not essential.
* Scientific expertise in drug discovery technologies and proficiency in synthetic organic chemistry.
* Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to participate effectively in scientific collaborations and foster productive teamwork in multidisciplinary environments.
* A forward-thinking mindset with a proactive approach to emerging trends and technologies in the field, coupled with strong self-motivation and initiative in project execution and personal growth.
