About This Role
The Site IT Stakeholder Success Lead facilitates alignment between IT and a designated line of business. The Stakeholder Success Lead focuses on ensuring stakeholders achieve their goals with the provided IT system. To ensure success, the Lead works closely with stakeholders to understand their evolving needs, challenges, opportunities, and priorities.
Stakeholder Success Leads do not just identify problems but take an active role in solving them. They work collaboratively with other members of their functional unit and/or other functional units to meet automation and information needs.
This role emphasizes outcomes (stakeholder success) over process (relationship management/partnering). Partnering and relationship management are important activities, but what matters most is stakeholder success. It requires a certain mindset and approach to working with stakeholders, looking to solve problems rather than processing demand for system requests.
Understanding what success means for the stakeholder and finding ways to drive that success is key. This involves going beyond initial requests and considering the broader impact of IT services.
