Join us as an Application Manager where you’ll play a key role in implementing and optimizing our cutting-edge Fair Management System (Momentus), ensuring seamless event execution for world-renowned fairs like Art Basel.
Your Responsibilities:
Shaping the Future of Fair Management
1. Configure, maintain, and enhance our Fair Management System (Momentus), ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies.
2. Gather and analyze requirements from business and IT stakeholders, translating them into technical solutions.
3. Drive the continuous improvement of our Fair Management System (Momentus) from onboarding new teams to streamlining processes.
4. Lead and implement platform development projects, ensuring high performance, scalability and usability.
Ensuring Seamless Operations
1. Act as the central system administrator for our Fair Management System (Momentus) ensuring smooth, reliable day-to-day operations.
2. Provide 1st and 2nd level support, coordinating with external partners when necessary.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues swiftly, minimizing disruptions during peak event times.
4. Configure and customize the platform to meet evolving business needs.
5. Develop custom reports and dashboards using Crystal Reports (currently), supporting data-driven decision-making.
6. Onboard and train new users, ensuring they are proficient in using our Fair Management System (Momentus).
7. Create and maintain training materials and documentation to support key users and teams.
Driving Innovation
1. Ensure that the platform is intuitive, user-friendly, and adaptable to business growth.
2. Identify and implement efficiency improvements to enhance workflows and productivity, helping the teams to work smarter.
3. Actively participate in the design, configuration, and rollout of our Fair Management System (Momentus) for flagship events.
4. Manage sub-projects, working closely with IT, business stakeholders, and external partners.
Learning & Development
1. Receive training and certifications to become an expert in Momentus & Crystal Reports.
2. Stay updated on the latest platform features and industry trends, to keep us at the forefront of fair management technology.
Your Profile:
1. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Informatics, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in system administration, business applications, or IT project management.
3. Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
4. Experience with Crystal Reports or other reporting tools is a plus.
5. Hands-on experience in supporting users, troubleshooting system issues, and providing training.
6. Familiarity with fair management, event platforms, or CRM systems is an advantage.
7. Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work with internal teams and external partners.
9. Fluent in English; additional language is a plus.
