Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Controller to strengthen the quality of analysis in our Business Performance management area.
This role involves business partnering, preparing key reporting requirements and forecasting as well as supporting the business with ad hoc analysis and advice.
Key Responsibilities
1. Monitor performances and KPIs: Regularly analyse financial data and performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders to support new business initiatives and provide financial guidance.
3. Maintain ethical standards in all financial practices, ensuring trust with stakeholders and leadership.
4. Support the budget process, forecast, and related mid-year terms plan, building details and reports linked to a specific business line.
5. Demonstrate business acumen by understanding the business model, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
6. Anticipate future financial trends, risks, and opportunities to help guide the business toward sustainable growth.
7. Be closely involved in day-to-day operations to understand the financial impact of operational decisions.
8. Embrace new technologies such as automation, AI, and data analytics that can drive efficiencies and provide real-time insights.
Requirements
1. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. A range of 3-5 years of experience with budgeting or forecasting models or finance controlling (focus on profit & loss).
3. Excellent ability to analyse large amounts of data, Basic SQL language.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (with good skills in pivot tables, formulas etc.) and experience with Google Suite instruments.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Fluency in English, written and spoken.
7. Ability to face complexity and attention to detail, with an analytical approach.
8. Ability to discuss directly with the business leaders.
9. Proactive attitude and problem-solving skills.
10. Curiosity, enthusiasm, and passion for continuous improvement.
11. Positive and collaborative attitude, ability to work independently as well as willingness to work inside a team.
