About the team you are joining:
You will be joining the Information and Data Division (I&D), reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Intelligence, as the Power BI Developer. You will be responsible for managing and enhancing IATA’s Power BI environment. The role includes creating and updating Power BI content, supporting the business to implement reporting use cases, training and end-user support, and tasks around Power BI troubleshooting, governance, access management, and monitoring.
What your day would be like: Take responsibility for the design, development, and maintenance of Power BI content and integrations to ensure seamless data access and reporting, working closely with internal users and external partners.
Monitor and optimize Power BI performance, including SQL optimization and providing recommendations for improvement.
Support architecture, configuration, administration, and functional enhancements of the Power BI environment to maximize its capabilities.
Develop and conduct training sessions for business users and owners of Power BI workspaces and reports focusing on risk management, security practices, and responsible data handling as well as best practices for Power BI development.
Implement and maintain data security measures in Power BI, including role-based access controls and compliance with regulatory requirements, to protect sensitive data.
Work with other technical teams to facilitate the embedding of Power BI content in other applications.
We would love to hear from you if: Bachelor's or master’s degree in a technical field.
3+ years of experience in Power BI content creation and administration.
5+ years of experience in analytics/business intelligence.
Proficiency with SQL for data analysis and transformation.
Experience with analytical data modeling techniques.
High degree of independence, initiative, flexibility, responsibility, and reliability in managing tasks and projects.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively engage with technical and business teams.
