About the team you are joining
You will join the IATA events team and therefore work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, and diverse environment.
You will report to the Senior Manager Change Management Events and will be handling the administration and logistics of annual events, such as the World Cargo Symposium, the Digital, Data and Retailing Symposium, the IGHC Conference, the Wings of Change, the Global Airport, Passenger & Accessibility Symposium, and the IATA Cargo Events. You will also support some marketing initiatives.
What your day would be like
You will support the Events Managers on any administrative task related to the events planning, execution, and post-event activities.
We will count on you to build and update the websites related to the conferences in scope.
You will liaise regularly with our design team to create visuals, logos, banners, promotional digital flyers, and even develop them yourself whenever possible.
Weekly event registration reports, statistics, and surveys will have no secret for you anymore.
You will also make the difference thanks to your great administrative support (invoices, reports, visa letters, and much more).
And you will help on-site when required.
We would love to hear from you if
You recently (within 1 year) graduated from a University with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field such as Marketing, Event Management, and/or Business;
You have knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.), Adobe Creative Suite, and HTML/SharePoint and SAP;
You can prioritize multiple projects, are highly organized, and can take care of detailed administrative tasks;
You can easily adapt to workload and work under pressure with a positive mindset, proactivity, and a problem-solving attitude.
