* Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver using an Agile methodology
* Responsible for the development maintenance, and submission of application authority to operate (ATO) packages
* Ensure all system and application security artifacts are up to date and in compliance with all RMF and Zero Trust requests per Government guidance
* Act as development team liaison to Government security teams to ensure requirements are communicated correctly and the appropriate and timely actions are taken as necessary
* Ensure developers understand their responsibility to deliver secure code
* Provide training and guidance for resolving security issues to development team(s) and customers
* Maintain system Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) and ensure it is updated and maintained regularly or as required by the customer
* Advocate for developer solutions to potential security issues and work with development team to find workarounds to problems without patches or other solutions immediately available
* Provide weekly/monthly status updates on the security posture of system/applications under management
* Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies by participating in industry events and conferences.
* Maintain DOD mandated certifications such as Security+ and other common computing environment requirements as provided by the customer

* Bachelor's Degree
* Secret Clearance Required
* 8 years of experience
