Join our team as a highly motivated Network Manager to lead the capacity planning for installation & commissioning of Gas-insulated Switchgears and build up a global network of qualified Field Service Engineers. Ideally you have a strong background in Field Service, good technical understanding of GIS, strong analytical and planning skills and the ability to communicate and negotiate with upper management.
How you'll make an impact
1. Analyze order intake and sales forecast of new business and service units to determine required resources and tools for installation, commissioning and testing of Gas-insulated Switchgear globally.
2. Develop plans to ensure right capacities both in manpower and tools and communicate accordingly.
3. Align demand with internal stakeholders, such as training centers, tool providers and service centers to ensure right capacities at the right time at the right place.
4. Monitor capacity development, define corrective measures and report progress to management.
5. Analyze global installed base data and determine required Field Service Engineers per country to cover future service demand. Synchronize demand with available resources in respective countries and global training capacities.
6. Develop training and investment plans for each local service unit together with Training Center, Product Experts and Sales.
7. Collaborate with Local Service Unit Managers and agree on training plan and investments based on overall strategy and business plans, to build up and sustain a global network of qualified Field Service Engineers.
8. Develop & maintain guidelines and instructions for the Service Network for the quoting and execution of GIS Service.
9. Communicate changes and updates to the Service Network and provide webinars to develop skills.
10. Lead or support initiatives to support global Field Services, Training or the Service Network.
Your background
1. Master or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. 5-10 years of experience in Service, ideally in Field Service, planning, business development or sales function.
3. Strong understanding installation, commissioning, testing and overhauling of GIS desired.
4. Knowledge of GIS technology of advantage.
5. Strong analytical and planning skills.
6. Ability to communicate and negotiate with Local Service Unit Managers; intercultural sensitivity required.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Proficiency in English, German of advantage.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
