General Description of the Position :
The Director of Enrollment Management at the Leysin American School (LAS) is a full-time, year-round position and is a member of the LAS Leadership Team reporting directly to the Head of School. This position is responsible for global student enrollment at LAS with a team of approximately ten people, including Admissions Market Directors, Admissions Officers, and the LAS Summer Program Director.
Responsibilities of the Position :
* Identifying marketing opportunities by locating potential clients; defining go-to-market strategy, understanding competitors’ share, and strengths & weaknesses; establishing targeted market share.
* Implementing and monitoring the student recruitment plans of all Market Directors.
* Designing the strategic planning of the promotion of LAS to a variety of audiences and prospective clients together with the Director of Institutional Advancement.
* Managing all aspects of financial aid, including disbursement of the Financial Aid & Scholarship Program budget (~4.5 million CHF) and oversight of the LAS full-scholarship program (3 per year).
* Serving as a member of the LAS Leadership Team and External Relations Team, and presenting to the LAS Board of Directors.
* Providing planning and leadership for the Admissions Department by ensuring that the appropriate staffing, structures, systems, competencies, and values are developed to meet the goals of the recruitment plans.
* Responsible for the Admissions team's sales / goal setting and performance appraisal.
* Overseeing, guiding, and supporting the Director of Summer Program and the SIS Admissions Coordinator.
* Giving feedback on the design and implementation of viewbooks, brochures, and other hard copy and digital collateral as designed and managed by the Director of Institutional Advancement.

Qualifications and Requirements :
* Master's degree or equivalent experience.
* 10+ years of leadership and management experience, preferably in an international educational setting.
* Extensive experience in international sales, planning & market strategy development.
* Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to navigate different cultures.
* Strong listening & communication skills and a client service orientation.
* Fluent English speaker is a must, and some level of French is preferred.
