The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is the guardian of the Olympic Games and the leader of the Olympic Movement. A truly global organisation, it acts as a catalyst for collaboration between all Olympic stakeholders, including athletes, National Olympic Committees (NOCs), International Sports Federations (IFs), Organising Committees for the Olympic Games (OCOGs), Worldwide Olympic Partners, and Media Rights-Holders. It also works with public and private authorities, including the United Nations and other international organisations.

Main responsibilities:
1. Lead the impact and legacy work for future and past editions of the Olympic Games.
Future editions of the Olympic Games:
* Collaborate with host National Olympic Committees (NOCs), host cities/regions, and Organising Committees of Olympic Games (OCOGs) on impact and legacy matters through the full Games lifecycle.
* Work with Olympic host cities/regions and the organising committees to leverage the Olympic Games as an opportunity to accelerate sustainable development in the host territory.
* Oversee subject matter expertise topics: physical activity and sport for all; inclusive economic impact of the Olympic Games; post-Games use of Olympic venues.
* Oversee Olympic Games impact (social, economic and environmental) measurement, reporting, and evaluation.
Past editions of the Olympic Games:
* Lead IOC efforts to keep the Olympic spirit alive in the territories that hosted past editions of the Olympic Games.
* Collaborate with the World Union of Olympic Cities for the expansion and strengthening of the network of legacy stakeholders.
* Lead the delivery of the annual edition of the Olympic Legacy Forum in collaboration with the World Union of Olympic Cities.
* Oversee legacy team efforts in supporting local stakeholders in promoting and making visible the legacy of past Olympic Games editions.
Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders:
* Support the department team working on the Olympic Games, facilitating the integration of topics and the escalation of issues/risks/opportunities.
* Improve the internal flow/sharing of relevant sustainability, impact, and legacy information pertaining to each edition of the Olympic Games.
* Collaborate and explore synergies with other IOC departments in regard to the Olympic Games sustainability, impact, and legacy.
* Oversee existing partnerships developed to support the implementation of the IOC’s Olympic Games impact and legacy objectives.
* Identify and develop strategic partnerships amongst external organisations to support the achievement of Olympic Games impact and legacy objectives.
1. Manage the Impact and Legacy unit.
* Lead the Olympic Games impact and legacy unit: coach, assist, motivate and develop unit members.
* Manage the wellbeing of the team and enable a productive work/life balance.
* Manage overall financial, carbon, and human resources budgeting for the unit.
* Provide regular updates and reporting on unit’s planning, operations, and progress to Department Director and IOC leadership as needed.
* Work with IOC communications team to identify communication opportunities and provide subject matter content as needed.
* Speak on behalf of IOC on topics related to the unit subject matter expertise when required.
* Compile updates on the achievement of Olympic Games impact and legacy objectives for IOC institutional meetings.
1. Actively contribute to the CSD leadership team.
* Support the departmental overall strategy and objectives.
* Support the Director together with the Head of Sustainability for the preparation and management of the IOC Sustainability and Legacy Commission.
Eligibility criteria:
* Master’s degree or equivalent work experience in economics, political science, public policies, business administration, international relations.
* Demonstrated strategic career progression at leadership level.
* Recognized professional trajectory at leadership level, driving initiatives on impact and socio-economic development matters.
* Demonstrated experience with public policies and long-term planning.
* Experience in leading through influence.
* Demonstrated project management experience, managing multiple large-scale projects concurrently.
* Experience in communicating with executive level within a corporate or governmental environment.
* Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
* Leader with people/team management experience.
* Spoken and written English fluency required; French and other languages an asset.
* Excellent command of corporate tools.
