The Position
In the newly created role of a Sr P and O Officer you would have a chance, together with the Local P and O team, to ensure house in order for the Zurich Office from a P and O perspective. It is a broad operational role with a lot of complexity, as it's centred around our key affiliates.
This exciting role encompasses P and O Operations Zurich Office tasks (ca. 70) and running independently the Payroll for the Swiss Affiliate (ca. 30 of your scope).
Your main responsibilities would be centred around:

HRIS Systems (support of local Management and ensure timely and correct initiation of processes)

Payroll (i.a. ensuring compliance of the payroll data processing and maintenance, ensuring statutory correctness of pension payroll, advising employees and management on payroll solutions in highly complex questions).
Moreover, it would be vital to ensure effective communication on P and O:related topics/issues in all units in Zurich, as well as with Corporate and externals. All of the above responsibilities would need to be conducted in compliance with the Swiss Labour Law.
The role is a full:time position where office presence would be expected at least 3 times per week.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

A degree in HR, Business Administration, Payroll, or a similar field.
:
Minimum 3 years of experience in HR with a strong understanding of people life cycle management.
:
Solid knowledge of payroll and accounting practices, labour taxation, and statutory social service rules and regulations.
:
Experience in handling payroll:specific records maintenance.
:
Familiarity with Zurichs local labour laws and regulations.
:
Fluent English and very good German skills (ca. B2+ level).
