EF Korea is looking for a Social Media & Video Content Assistant Manager to play a key role in developing and executing video and social media strategies that drive engagement and growth. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, this person will focus on YouTube channel growth, social media content creation, and digital marketing strategies.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in video production, social media management, and a strong understanding of online marketing trends, SEO, and audience engagement strategies. Key Responsibilities:
YouTube & Video Content Strategy
1. Develop and execute a strategy to grow our YouTube channel, increasing views, subscribers, and engagement.
2. Plan, script, and oversee the production of high-quality video content (educational, promotional, and viral).
3. Optimize videos using YouTube SEO strategies, metadata, and eye-catching thumbnails.
4. Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
Social Media Content & Management
1. Work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop and manage content across Instagram, Facebook, Naver Blog, and Youtube.
2. Create and execute social media campaigns aligned with business goals.
3. Coordinate content calendars, campaign planning, and post scheduling.
4. Stay updated on social media trends and platform algorithms to optimize engagement.
Creative & Editing (Preferred)
1. Work with designers and video editors to maintain a strong visual identity across platforms.
2. Hands-on editing using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) is a plus.
3. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to refine content strategies.
4. Implement SEO techniques to improve discoverability and engagement.
5. Track and report KPIs using analytics tools to measure content success and optimize future content.
What We’re Looking For:
* 3-7 years of experience in social media content creation, video marketing, or digital marketing.
* Proven experience growing a YouTube channel with a strong understanding of YouTube SEO and analytics.
* Ability to conceptualize, produce, and manage video content from ideation to execution.
* Proficiency in social media platforms, algorithms, and engagement strategies.
* (Preferred) Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).
* Strong understanding of SEO, analytics tools (Google Analytics, YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite), and online marketing trends.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
* Comfortable collaborating with the Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams.
* Korean Native speaker required; Business English proficiency preferred but not required.
