Purpose
Our Swiss Sourcing team, based in Geneva, is looking for outstanding professionals with a strong background in procurement and strategic sourcing. We deliver high-value, client-centric sourcing solutions across a variety of categories, including IT, software, hardware, and infrastructure. Our team thrives on tackling complex challenges, driving innovation, and fostering strong partnerships with both clients and suppliers.
We are not just looking for another consultant. We seek dynamic professionals who bring a mix of procurement expertise, business acumen, consulting skills, and a strong understanding of technology. If you are an exceptional negotiator, a strategic thinker, and a relationship builder, this role is for you.
Beyond procurement, a strong culture and appetite for IT and technology are essential. You don't need to be a technical expert, but you should have a solid grasp of technological trends and their impact on business and procurement decisions.
We work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment where strong personalities, positive attitudes, and an entrepreneurial mindset are key to success.
This is an exciting long-term opportunity within a rapidly growing company. We value commitment, transparency, and authenticity. If you are looking for a short-term stint, this role is not for you.
Language skills are critical: Fluency in English is required at a professional level. In addition, you must speak either French or German fluently. Mastering all three languages is a significant advantage and will set you apart. If you have exceptional business, procurement, and consulting skills but only meet the English + one other language requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
What you will be doing
* Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, from routine renewals to high-stakes procurement projects, with full autonomy.
* Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.
* Conduct market tenders, manage supplier negotiations, and oversee cross-functional evaluation teams.
* Understand client needs and craft innovative, high-value deals beyond simple cost savings.
* Drive complex contract negotiations, securing optimal commercial terms while managing risks.
* Develop sourcing strategies that align with business goals and maximize value for clients.
* Manage supplier relationships, ensuring long-term strategic alignment.
* Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
Who you are
* Bachelor’s degree minimum, Master’s preferred, in Business, Procurement, Law, Technology, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or contract management.
* Exceptional negotiation skills, with experience handling multi-million-dollar global deals.
* Strong business and consulting mindset, with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
* A keen interest and understanding of IT, technology, and digital trends.
* Comfortable managing multiple priorities under pressure, demonstrating agility and resilience.
* Hands-on approach with a proactive and solution-driven mindset.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—polished, diplomatic, and persuasive.
* Strong project management skills, capable of executing end-to-end procurement processes.
* Fluency in English is required, along with either French or German. Proficiency in all three languages is a major advantage.
If you are a procurement professional who thrives in a fast-moving, high-energy setting and is ready to take on the next big challenge, we want to hear from you!
