Your responsibilities
1. Act as the primary point of contact for customers and distributors, addressing all technical and application questions across our product portfolio, including IGBTs, IGCTs, Diodes, Thyristors, PCTs, and MOSFETs.
2. Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and distributors through clear and reliable technical communication in the areas of rectifiers, inverters, industrial drives, traction converters, power electronics, active components, and thermal design.
3. Collaborate with various departments (R&D, Product Management, Sales & Marketing) to acquire, retain, and support customers in the traction, industry, photovoltaic, electrical vehicles, and renewable energy sectors, ultimately strengthening our market position.
4. Gain in-depth knowledge of product applications, identify market trends related to power electronics devices and systems, and find potential areas for market share growth.
5. Handle internal tasks like customer waivers and technical approvals while actively contributing to the team's strategy.
6. Lead a team of technical support specialists, overseeing processes like specification reviews and design-in projects.
7. Identify new product uses for our product portfolio, contribute to product roadmaps aligned with market trends, and manage customer needs in line with company strategy.
Your background
1. A leader with strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a passion for technical customer support in the power electronics industry.
2. Experience in technical sales and customer support, ideally within the power electronics industry, with knowledge of IGBTs, IGCTs, Diodes, Thyristors, PCTs, and MOSFETs is essential.
3. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar field) with proven experience in power electronics, including converters, industrial applications, active components, and thermal design, is highly desirable.
4. Excellent communication skills in German and English are required, with additional languages a plus.
5. You possess strong organizational and time management skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
6. The ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage conflict effectively is crucial.
