Head of Group Sustainability
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Group Strategy & Development (GSD), the Head of Group Sustainability will oversee the development and deployment of the group-wide sustainability activities, systems, procedures and policies. S/he will work closely with the business and stakeholders to ensure the function supports and facilitates the ambitious sustainability goals of the REHAU Group.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Functions as the company's subject matter expert and principal point of contact
Be a trusted advisor to the Head of GSD regarding non-financial reporting matters for the organization
Provide vision and direction to the development and deployment of sustainability targets
Ensure the development, implementation and enforcement of a streamlined group-wide non-financial reporting in compliance with CSRD, EU-Taxonomy and further international rules and regulations
Manage the annual external non-financial reporting and audit process
Collaborate closely with sustainability experts across the Sub-Groups
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
5+ years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, corporate social responsibility or a related field
Profound understanding of CSRD, EU-Taxonomy and further sustainability regulations
Able to effectively communicate with senior executives including experience in preparing and delivering effective presentations
Proven ability to collaborate with and influence internal and external stakeholders. Relationship builder across the organization, ability to influence in a complex, cross-functional environment
Master's Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration or a related field
English and German fluency
The start can take place immediately or according to agreement.
Location is Muri near Bern. The company is open to home office.
