ASAP: PMO -FMCG/Supply Chain projects, min 2-4 months (m/w/d)
About Our Client
Our client is an international organization with headquarters in Switzerland and a strong footprint within the FMCG industry. We are looking for an experienced PMO to join our client asap for at least 2-4 months to help them establish a solid PMO function.
Job Description
1. Programme & Project Governance and Framework Development
o Design, implement, and maintain a structured project management methodology tailored for supply chain/FMCG environments.
o Develop standardized toolkits, templates, and governance models to drive consistency and efficiency across all projects.
o Establish structured reporting mechanisms, including risk registers, traffic-light indicators, and contingency plans, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
o Identify and manage cross-functional dependencies and critical milestones across various programmes and workstreams.
2. Cross-Programme Coordination & Operational Master Planning
o Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, logistics, and commercial teams to define project milestones and interdependencies.
o Establish clear workflows between operations, demand planning, and distribution teams, ensuring seamless integration.
o Implement real-time tracking tools to proactively identify bottlenecks and accelerate issue resolution.
3. Agile Project Management & Technology Enablement
o Lead the design and execution of technology-driven supply chain solutions, ensuring projects adhere to Agile frameworks.
o Oversee Sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and iterative development cycles, optimizing project delivery timelines.
o Support product owners, IT, and operations teams in aligning business requirements with Agile development processes.
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
o Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring visibility into project progress, risks, and key decisions.
o Produce comprehensive dashboards and reports, providing real-time updates on project health and risk mitigation strategies.
o Establish clear communication channels to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment.
5. Training & Adoption of Project Management Processes
o Develop and deliver on-the-job coaching to drive adoption of new project management tools, templates, and reporting structures across supply chain and FMCG functions.
o Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, embedding Agile project management principles.
o Provide ongoing support to enhance compliance with governance frameworks and ensure seamless execution.
The Successful Applicant
* Proven experience in setting up and managing a PMO function, ideally within the supply chain and FMCG environments.
* Strong expertise in Agile and Sprint-based project management methodologies.
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, ensuring seamless cross-team integration.
* Experience in leading technology solution design and implementation, working closely with product and development teams.
* Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Monday.com, MS Project, or equivalent.
* Strong training and coaching skills to drive adoption of project management processes.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, engaging leadership and cross-functional teams.
* Hands-on experience in risk management, contingency planning, and real-time project reporting.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
* Certified in Agile Project Management (Scrum Master, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or equivalent).
