Overview of Role
You will be part of the Private Markets Middle Office team in the Wealth Management division at Rothschild & Co in Zurich. In this role, you will provide lifecycle management services of private market funds in Switzerland, including reviewing and completing legal documents, operational setup, post-sale activities, and portfolio explanations to client advisors.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for daily lifecycle management tasks of private market funds offered by the bank, including capital call and distribution transactions, valuations, and reporting.
* Complete and execute private market deal closing activities through our nominee setup with internal and external stakeholders.
* Complete transfer requests along with coordinating associated AML/KYC requirements.
* Track deal-closing documents and manage workflows under tight deadlines.
* Support client advisors on the post-sale side.
* Manage different processes to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
* Contribute actively to implementing private market optimization projects and activities.
* Maintain awareness of industry developments.
Education and Qualifications
* University degree in accounting, business administration, or finance.
Experience, Skills, and Competencies Required
* 3 to 5 years of experience in banking operations with a strong focus on private markets.
* Detailed-oriented, well-organized, and energetic person.
* Self-starter and proactive individual with an entrepreneurial mindset.
* Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external parties.
* Fluent in English; other languages (German/French) are beneficial.
* Experience in a private market firm is beneficial.
