We are looking for you as a highly qualified Financial Crime Compliance Specialist to strengthen our international Group Sanctions team in Zurich. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive understanding of global sanctions regulations, industry standards, and internal policies of the LGT Group. Your main tasks will include identifying, analyzing, managing, and mitigating sanctions risks within the organization.
Key responsibilities:
1. Sanctions Risk Management: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of global sanctions regulations, industry standards, and internal policies to ensure compliance across the LGT Group.
2. Collaboration and Communication: Provide expert guidance and support to local sanctions officers, foster effective collaboration with business units and back-office functions to establish and maintain our group-wide standards.
3. Complex Issue Resolution: Communicate complex regulatory changes and issues clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring seamless understanding and implementation.
4. Compliance Assurance: Prepare comprehensive reports and conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, promptly addressing any emerging challenges or risks.
Your profile
* Completion of a degree, ideally with focus on banking, economic law, or regulatory affairs
* Several years of experience in compliance, with a strong emphasis on economic sanctions, ensuring a deep understanding of CH, EU, UK, and US regimes
* Proven ability to analyze complex regulatory issues and develop effective and efficient solutions
* Excellent coordination and communication skills
* Reliable and solution-oriented approach to work, with the ability to quickly comprehend new challenges and adapt to changing regulatory landscapes
* Assertive team player who contributes effectively to team goals while maintaining a collaborative mindset
* Fluent in German and English
