The Accountant will support the implementation team of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) financial modules with a focus on General Ledger and Fixed Assets. He/She will also support accounting related tasks for our holding company (month-end closings, invoices, calculations, financial statements).
Your responsibilities will be to:
Support and work closely with the Oracle implementation team
Support the migration of data from our current system to Oracle
Perform monthly closings of company books, including consolidation reporting
Prepare the statutory financial statements of the Swiss legal entity
Ensure that all day-to-day activities of the company follow SOP/accounting principles
Prepare monthly and daily financial reports
Work closely with the local controlling team
Oversee the AUC cycle: Cost Project Life Management (creation, closure), Capitalization, Ageing monitoring
Manage fixed assets projects
Support and liaise with other finance departments and other functions and departments as required
Our requirements:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related fields
Previous work experience in international companies
Relevant experience of ideally 3 to 5 years in similar positions in a modern manufacturing environment – preferably in the automotive industry
Having a CPA certification would be an advantage
In-depth knowledge of finance processes within organizations
Previous experience of working with ERP systems (preferably in Oracle)
Excellent English language skills - both written and verbal
Good knowledge of German (B2 or B3 level)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure, challenge others and speak your mind
