Due to our continued growth, we are now hiring a Quality Manager for our Quality team in Galgenen, Switzerland.
As Quality Manager, you will ensure that the quality of the finished products is maintained all the way to the consumer in accordance with company quality requirements and applicable regulations. You will be leading a team of around 3–6 people striving for excellence. If you are passionate about directing, planning, and coordinating compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP), as well as leading the Quality Improvement Processes within the Distribution Center, this is the role for you. You will represent the Q organization in all the TR DCs and be the first point of contact for corporate and external audits. This position will serve as the key contact in the Travel Retail Region in quality matters related to stock, rework, returns, regulations, compliance, and holds in all the TR Distribution Centers.
Your main responsibilities include:
Execute self-evaluations based on GMP & GDP regulations in the Distribution Centers and lead improvement projects.
Establish and manage a Quality team.
Manage non-conformances noticed on products stored in the Distribution Center.
Coordinate inspections in case of quality issues or non-conformances, report findings, and determine the final decision.
Ensure the sampling process is managed appropriately in cases of quality defects and need for further investigations.
Take independent decisions related to the team in quality matters.
Ensure that quality training is conducted and systems are implemented, taking into account ELC requirements.
Assist in recall activities when applicable.
Ensure that company goals are achieved within the Travel Retail Region and support the long-term vision of quality for Distribution.
Ensure GMP & GDP compliance and implementation of quality processes in all the Distribution Centers.
Establish GMP processes for Rework Value Added Services and Late Stage Differentiation by setting standards to define product disposition.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who brings:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field of study.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of quality with cosmetic, food, or pharmaceutical products or other regulated industries.
Familiarity with GMP & GDP regulations, including internal auditing skills and applicable cosmetic/OTC regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
Fluency in English, written and orally; German is a benefit (minimum B1), and any other European language is a plus.
Broad and open-minded with a sense of responsibility.
An eye for detail and improvement, and is an initiator.
Strategic thinking.
Project management and risk management skills.
Knowledge of Health Canada, FDA, and CSAR requirements is a benefit.
