Key Role Summary:
This is a full-time office role that involves managing complex transfer and investigation cases. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure and have a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
1. Case Management: Manage complex transfer and investigation cases, ensuring all necessary steps are taken to resolve these in a timely manner.
2. Document Coordination: Coordinate necessary documents and eligibility checks with client advisors, legal and other parties to initiate and oversee transfers and reconciliation.
3. Liaison with External Parties: Liaise with transfer agents and counterparty banks to process transfers efficiently.
4. Fund Documentation: Prepare fund specific documentation for transfers in co-operation with legal departments.
5. Client Restriction Review: Review of fund restrictions to ensure that clients meet the fund requirements.
6. Daily Communication: Daily communication with internal and external stakeholders as Single Point of Contact (SPOC).
7. Static Data Administration: Administration of securities settlement static data (SSI).
8. Chasing Outstanding Information: Systematic chasing of outstanding information and overdue transactions.
9. Discrepancy Investigation: Investigating securities discrepancies and reconciliation breaks.
10. Complex Query Resolution: Resolution of complex client queries through internal/external escalations.
Experience and Skills:
1. Relevant Experience: 1-3 years relevant experience with Hedge fund migrations is highly desirable.
2. Language Proficiency: Fluent English language (written and spoken) is essential.
3. Industry Knowledge: Experience in investment banking and wealth management is preferred.
