About The Job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern within the Marketing Department in Luzern, the Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for all tasks related to the Marketing & Communications Department. The Marketing & Communications Manager reports to the Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications.
As Marketing & Communications Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
1. Assist in executing the yearly marketing plans and ensuring all campaigns are effectively managed from conception to implementation.
2. Creation and updating of printed matter in compliance with the existing CI/CD and with the support of a graphic agency.
3. Responsibility for the creation, development and implementation of the relevant advertisements in all areas (digital, print and other channels).
4. Ensure adherence to brand guidelines for all promotional material and advertising collateral.
5. Responsibility for the hotel magazine, newsletters (local and global) as well as the transactional communication.
6. Maintain all hotel images and video assets.
7. Handle requests by media to film/shoot the hotel and ensure that the hotel is appropriately featured and credited.
8. Execution of internal photo shoots and general content productions.
9. Coordinate media requests and on-site visits including influencer collaborations.
10. Maintain the Marketing inventory and ordering of collaterals or corporate gifts.
As Marketing & Communications Manager, we expect from you:
1. Degree in Marketing, Communications or similar relevant area.
2. Previous working experience in Marketing in the hospitality industry or a related field.
3. Highly organized, outstanding communications skills and great attention to details.
4. Creative and out-of-the-box thinker with a can-do attitude.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Fluent in German and English. Other languages are an advantage.
