Job Summary:
The Front Office Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing the daily operations of the front office area, ensuring seamless guest experiences and optimal room occupancy. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate with various departments and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Front Office Management: Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to oversee the entire front office area, including reception desk duties, arrivals, and departures.
2. Daily Task Control: Manage daily tasks at the reception desk, ensuring timely completion and guest satisfaction.
3. Occupancy Management: Co-responsible for achieving optimal room and hotel occupancy rates.
4. Cash Handling: Co-responsible for daily/monthly accounts and main cash desk operations.
5. Department Coordination: Coordinate between housekeeping, concierge, and guest relations to provide exceptional guest services.
6. Complaint Resolution: Effectively manage guest complaints and concerns.
7. Process Optimization: Organize and coordinate all processes within the front office department.
8. Staff Planning: Jointly responsible for staff planning and scheduling.
9. Staff Development: Co-responsible for induction, management, and development of front office staff.
10. Service Quality: Co-responsible for maintaining service quality standards as per LQA guidelines.
