Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph D in Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field2-4 years of experience in traditional project management (PMI, PRINCE2, or equivalent) within life sciences or regulated industries Hands-on experience with project planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication Exposure to project governance, compliance, and reporting frameworks Strong knowledge of PMI or PRINCE2 methodologies, including project lifecycle, work breakdown structures (WBS), and scheduling Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or JIRAAbility to track and manage KPIs, budgets, and performance metrics for projects Understanding of operational excellence methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to improve project execution Experience with resource and capacity planning to optimise project team performance Knowledge of the life sciences industry (pharma, medtech, public health), including regulatory requirements impacting projects Understanding of Gx P and compliance considerations in project delivery Ability to engage with clients, lead meetings, and present complex information in an accessible manner Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and manage expectations with cross-functional teams Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes and propose structured solutions Capability to apply data-driven decision-making to project challenges Ability to manage uncertainty and adjust project plans in response to evolving requirements Confidence in making risk-based decisions and presenting options to stakeholders Ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery Developing skills in delegation and prioritisation of tasks Ability to work in multicultural teams and international project environments Sensitivity to cultural differences in client interactions and project management styles Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken Tasks and Responsibilities Manage work packages or smaller projects independently with minimal guidance, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and budget Apply traditional project management principles (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2) to structure, plan, and execute projects in the life sciences sector Lead specific project components such as risk management, stakeholder engagement, and project documentation Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies, ensuring proactive issue resolution Support project governance processes, including status reporting, steering committees, and compliance with regulatory requirements Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analysing project performance data and identifying process optimisations Support the development of best practices, templates, and tools for project execution in life sciences Evaluate and recommend new project management tools or methodologies for increased efficiency and compliance Participate in lessons-learned exercises and document key findings to enhance future project execution Build trust and rapport with clients, understanding their needs and aligning project outcomes with business objectives Manage day-to-day interactions with project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectation management Assist in leading client workshops and project reviews, providing structured recommendations Support client onboarding, ensuring that project methodologies and expectations are clearly defined Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members on project management methodologies and tools Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and facilitate knowledge sharing Resolve minor team conflicts and contribute to a collaborative project environment Identify opportunities to expand project scope or introduce additional services within existing engagements Support the development of proposals and client pitches, leveraging knowledge of project management best practices Assist in crafting case studies and whitepapers showcasing successful project execution
