We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Network Engineer. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the stability and security of our network operations across various offices and event venues. Your responsibilities will include setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting network equipment such as switches, routers, and access points. You will also support network performance monitoring using tools like Zabbix and Grafana, and collaborate on network automation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of network equipment (switches, routers, access points).
* Support network operations for offices and event venues, ensuring stable and secure connectivity.
* Help monitor network performance using Zabbix, Grafana, or similar tools.
* Collaborate on network automation projects.
* Document network setups and changes using Visio/CAD and Netbox.
* Work with vendors and service providers to ensure network services are delivered effectively.
* Follow best practices for network security and troubleshooting at an access level.
* Responsible for passive network infrastructure, including installing and terminating copper and fiber patching.
* May require travel of up to 30% of the time, though this is not guaranteed.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Work experience in a network support or network engineering role.
* Certifications: CCNA or equivalent knowledge (CCNP is a plus but not required).
* Knowledge of LAN, VLAN, VPN, and wireless networking.
* Understanding in at least one of the following areas:
o network automation tools (Python, Ansible).
o network monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana).
* Exposure to structured cabling, wired/wireless networks.
* Language: Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset.
* Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills.
