Team Lead – Inside Sales Regional Accounts
Location: Switzerland (Zürich)
In this pivotal role, you will manage, direct and drive direct sales into Regional Accounts, together with your motivated Team of Inside Regional Account Managers. This position reports directly to the Territory Sales Director for Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
Leadership: Lead by example: Manage and motivate your Sales Team
Coach your team to achieve and exceed their goals
Mentor your colleagues for appropriate cross and upselling
Set quotas for your team
Develop your team to become the Field Sales Representatives/ Regional Account Managers of tomorrow
Sales excellence : Carry quarterly and annual revenue targets
Deliver solid weekly/monthly/quarterly forecasting to your manager
Carry quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Guide your team to create a meaningful tiering for the assigned accounts and enable account moves to the RAMs
Relationships: Develop relationships with key decision makers, influencers and partners
Manage effective working relationships with assigned Technical Sales Engineers, and Consulting Professionals as well as their management
Partner with Fortinet marketing to plan, request and execute targeted campaigns for your customer segment and engineering teams to drive revenue growth.
Orchestration: Work closely with the relevant distributors and partners to drive the territory business
Serve as lead contact responsible for the flow of information to/from executive management
Align and coordinate with Channel account manager
Qualifications:
Leadership : Goal-oriented individual, with vast interpersonal managerial skills, strong business acumen, and positive leadership abilities.
Proven results in mentoring, motivating, and developing teams.
Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
Experience in managing a team of internal sales, selling over the phone
Sales Excellence : Proven ability to sell solutions to regional customers
Experience in the cybersecurity and/or network security industry, with
A proven track record of significant over-quota achievement and demonstrated career stability
Experience in closing deals
Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors
Extensive experience with SFDC, Excel and ideally Tableau
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and German are a must, French is a plus)
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, MBA preferred.
