Job Description: As the Associated-Director in the Middle Office department, you will be in charge of the Post-Execution team. Reporting directly to the Head Post-Execution Vice-Director, you will supervise the operational activities and manage the team in accordance with senior management.
Team Management:
Leading and supporting a team: Fostering a positive work atmosphere where employees feel motivated, valued, and connected to the team and the organization.
Promoting collaboration, trust, and cohesion among team members.
Addressing any potential conflicts among team members to your senior management and/or HR Partner.
Supporting employee growth through training, mentorship, coaching, and advancement opportunities.
Hiring: Leading the recruitment process with your Talent Acquisition Partner.
Ensuring new hires are properly introduced to the team, the organization, its culture, policies, and their specific roles.
Performance Management: Setting performance expectations, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and addressing any performance issues.
Conducting under-performance processes with the help of your Senior Management and HR Partner.
Operations management:
Leading the team's operational tasks: Booking and validation of trades of all asset classes (securities, forex, derivatives) with respect to value dates, creation and valorization of financial instruments, trade monitoring, and reconciliation.
Conducting specific investigations (settlement issues or reconciliation breaks).
Initiating and guiding internal projects to improve internal tools and optimize processes.
Setting up and following up on KPIs (workload, team performance, and projections).
Managing relationships with traders and counterparts.
Assisting Senior leadership in the strategic planning of the Middle Office activities.
Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years track record in a Back-Office department.
Previous experience in a leadership role is an advantage.
Very good knowledge and previous experience in the Post-execution field.
Fluency in French and English.
Strong managerial skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve objectives effectively.
Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication skills, results-oriented, and a team player.
