Position Summary
Working with our Group Technology team in charge of our next generation of connected products and services, the Project Manager will collaborate with a college of product owners. As the workflow owner, he will be more specifically focused on establishing the end-to-end workflow strategy of our common software platform solution, considering the entire packaging industry value chain.
He will then define with the college the roadmap through the backlog (contents and priorities) and align R&D teams through well described features and user stories.
The Project Manager will report to the Director at Group technology. He will be located in Mex (Switzerland), and will have frequent travels (Switzerland, France, Italy, Germany, and UK).
You hold a good experience working with PLC (Siemens, Codesys,....) and wish to have an impact on the automation strategy of tomorrow's machines. Whether you are a Product Owner or an experienced PLC Software Developer, we will consider your application.
Main Responsibilities
Collaborate with other Product Owners to build a coherent strategy and roadmap for the project.
Understand and translate the customer and BOBST product lines' needs/expectations into a backlog, understandable by the development team.
Align the Product Lines technologies towards a common platform approach.
Maintain knowledge on workflow and related standards.
Follow the proper execution of the roadmap.
Communicate to our internal R&D stakeholders and align with our Product Lines.
Professional Experience & Personal Attributes
Proven track record as product owner or similar.
Proven track record in analyzing problems and designing efficient architecture/solution.
Proven track record in working in agile methodology.
Strong technical background in Automation (e.g., SIEMENS, CODESYS).
8-10 years of experience in the Industrial area within mid-big sized companies.
Engineering academic background.

Your Education and Languages Capabilities
Minimum B.S. degree or equivalent in Automation, electronics, embedded software.
Proficiency in English; French is an asset.

The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is also the headquarters of the Bobst Group. It is the most important site, employing approximately 1,600 passionate people.
