The Group Training Manager, positioned within the marketing team, will be responsible for managing and delivering internal training on the company’s product portfolio, in close collaboration of Global Education Managers, onboarding new employees in marketing and commercial teams across different regions, and overseeing the corporate training platform (Litmos). This role ensures that marketing and commercial teams outside of HQ are well-equipped with the knowledge they need to effectively represent the company’s products and services. The Global Training Manager will also manage content creation, deployment, and tracking of corporate training initiatives
The candidate will be responsible for managing the following activities:
internal Product Training: develop and manage comprehensive training programs for employees across global commercial teams, focusing on the company's product portfolio and key market differentiators, in close collaboration with Global Education Team, responsible for divisional product training activities plan;
onboarding: lead the onboarding process for new employees in marketing and commercial teams, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to quickly integrate and perform;
training content development: create and collaborate with subject matter experts to design training modules, ensuring that content is up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with the company’s commercial strategy;
LMS platform management: administer the company’s learning management system, ensuring all standard corporate training materials are properly uploaded, organized, and tracked. Monitor training progress and ensure completion of mandatory training;
training needs analysis: assess training needs for marketing and commercial teams by conducting surveys, feedback sessions, and performance analysis to identify gaps and areas for improvement;
cross-functional collaboration: work closely with HR and country teams to ensure consistent execution of training programs;
compliance: Ensure that all training materials and programs comply with industry standards, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements;
training metrics & reporting: track and report on the effectiveness of training initiatives by monitoring completion rates, feedback, and knowledge retention metrics. Provide regular updates to leadership on training impact;
global coordination: manage the rollout of global training programs, ensuring they are customized for regional requirements while maintaining consistency in key learning objectives;
continuous improvement: stay updated on trends in training technology and methodologies, continually improving the internal training process and tools.
The resource should also have the following skills:
Hard Skills
bachelor's degree, or equivalent in Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology or Medicine;
3+ years of experience in training program management in medical devices and/or pharma/ biotechnology;
proven expertise in training design, delivery, and LMS management, including the creation of engaging materials and e-learning content;
familiarity with modern training technologies and tools;
fluency in the English language, preferrable knowledge of national languages (preferrable).
Soft skills
strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills for training needs and impact analysis;
excellent communication abilities, with experience in cross-functional collaboration;
adaptability to regional and cultural differences in training implementation, ensuring compliance with medical industry standards and corporate policies;
