About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Planner to join our team at our Manufacturing Complex in Visp, Switzerland. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating all operational activities within the facility.
Your Responsibilities
* Develop and implement an integrated operations plan to coordinate all operational activities within the Manufacturing Complex.
* Coordinate and plan tasks and requirements of different areas such as Procurement Planning, Manufacturing Complex Leadership Team, Production, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering, Global Engineering and Services.
* Develop and own the Summary Production Schedule (SPS) driven by Supply Chain demand Planning and the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
* Create detailed plans for production planning, maintenance planning, resource planning, and availability of plant and equipment.
* Proactively develop strategies to anticipate or counteract possible future supply bottlenecks.
* Improve planning accuracy through process and system optimizations.
* Maintain and train personnel on scheduling tool/system usage in executing operations in the facility.
* Develop a comprehensive planning strategy for Manufacturing Complex Operations.
Your Profile
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Biotechnology, or related field.
* At least 5 years of professional experience in a production environment (GMP).
* Experience on the shop floor in biologics operations is highly advantageous.
* Fluent English skills; German language proficiency is an advantage.
* Expert knowledge of SAP ERP/MRP and MES systems, including Syncade.
* Proficiency in creating integrated schedules using planning software like Orchestrate, Schedule Pro, or Aspen.
* Strong understanding of Office programs, especially MS Project.
* Desirable: Experience with scheduling/capacity optimization programs and several years of supply planning experience in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology.
