The Technical Purchasing Department is responsible to ensure timely delivery of aircraft materials to the Maintenance organization in the right quantity, right time, right price, and the right place.
Starting date : June 01, 2025 or upon agreement.

Tasks
As Technical Purchaser, you ensure the supply of spare parts and services for maintenance on a short-term basis to avoid any disruption to the dispatch reliability of the aircraft and in the long term to ensure optimum purchasing efficiency.
Responsible for purchase and timely supply of spare parts.
Responsible for market search for new suppliers.
Negotiate with suppliers to get best economic conditions.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations from Aviation Authorities and SWISS quality.
Ensure continuous communication of material status to various stakeholders.
Ensure supplier evaluation and supplier relationship management for defined suppliers.
Cooperate with Strategic Procurement in regards to spares procurement from contracted suppliers.
Verify the correctness of invoices with Accounting.
Identify improvement initiatives in the area of the supply chain.
Participate in purchasing projects as a team member.

Requirements
Successful apprenticeship in commercial domain ('KV') or technical apprenticeship with commercial training ('Technischer Kaufmann').
Further education such as Bachelor degree or specialized training (e.g. 'Eidg. Einkaufsfachmann' or 'CIPS') are an advantage.
3 - 5 years working experience in purchasing (civil aviation industry is a benefit).
Knowledge of AMOS is a plus.
Additional training in Supply Chain / Purchasing / Logistics.
Strong planning and organizing skills.
Results and solutions oriented.
Ability to master difficult and challenging situations.
Team-player with excellent communication and social skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken; German is a plus.
