Job Description:
The role of Candidate X: Combustible Consumer Intelligence Manager is crucial in driving consumer-centricity and comprehensive understanding across JTI. This position involves connecting the dots between consumer behavior, market trends, and shopping habits for combustible and multicategory nicotine users.
The ideal candidate will develop compelling commercial analysis by combining ad-hoc qualitative and quantitative research, market trends, and nicotine dynamics. They will provide actionable insights to stakeholders and engage in global agency management to ensure seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Connecting the Dots
The successful candidate will translate complex research findings into engaging narratives and stories. They will connect various data sources to create a comprehensive view of consumer behavior and market dynamics.
This role requires strong bases in Consumer Segmentation and linking it to business opportunities.
Project Management
The ideal candidate should possess excellent project management, analytical, communication, and presentation skills. They must be able to think critically and manage pressure effectively.
External Partnerships
The candidate will effectively manage 3rd party suppliers (research agencies) to implement appropriate research methodologies and ensure seamless project execution.
Internal Partnerships
The successful candidate will successfully collaborate with HQ functions, Regions/markets, and stakeholders. They will be responsible for steering communication and ensuring alignment on information/project needs.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or master's equivalent;
* 10+ years of experience in FMCG marketing and/or consulting;
* Solid critical thinking and analytical skills required;
* Tobacco business knowledge and marketing research experience is a plus;
* Fluent English language skills with strong written and verbal abilities;
* Robust commercial understanding and translation of business questions into actionable recommendations;
* Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills.
