Context & EnvironmentProject Manager, Gas & Power Trading IT (Location: Geneva)In this role, you will be responsible the management of a a range of different IT projects and other change initiatives within the Gas & Power Trading area, and particularly the contribution to the power transition of the trading companies of TotalEnergies. The IT projects will generally be business and application oriented and will require coordination across a range of teams and markets. You will report to the Program Manager for Gas & Power Trading IT. ActivitiesPlan and manage projects from start to finish according to a phased approach, or manage a portfolio of smaller projects simultaneouslyReport to a Steering Group and ensure the governance model for the projectReport project status, including scope, schedule and budgetMaintain a project risk, issue and decision logPerform all relevant project dutiesContribute to the Program and Project Management Office (PMO) function for Gas & Power Trading ITAssess risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID) across the project portfolioAssist in resource planning and allocationWork closely with third party suppliers within the project where relevant and ensure that the supplier contract is executed appropriatelyApply the company standards in terms of project methodologies and other IT governance policies and processesEnsure compliance with legal, regulatory and other audit/internal requirements (e.g. Sarbannes-Oxley) are enforcedHelp to promote a “project” culture within Gas & Power Trading IT and coach team members on project management methodologies Communicate with relevant managers from within Trading IT and across GRP IT teamsContribute to strategy and budgeting exercises for Gas & Power Trading ITWork closely with other IT/Technology teams within Trading ITCandidate ProfileEducated to at least degree level or an equivalent 3+ years’ experience in a project management role, or similarDemonstrable experience and business knowledge from a utility, trading or energy management company, and the IT/TechnologyExcellent communication and organizational skills, experience of working with IT suppliers and contracts, and good business and commercial acumenFormal training and certifications in Project Management is expected, and knowledge of agile methodologies is desirableFamiliarity with the design, development and integration of business applicationsFluent in English; competency in French advantageous At TotalEnergies, we believe that our employees’ fulfilment has its roots in the wealth of the experiences they are offered.
