We are seeking an entrepreneurial professional to drive sales throughout the Northeast Region of the U.S. hospital and training center customer segment and grow our North American market presence. You will promote innovative and emerging technology and play a key role in achieving our North American sales team’s ambitious goals.

Your Work
VirtaMed’s Regional Business Director will focus on driving sales of the entire VirtaMed product range to hospitals and training centers located in the Northeast Region of the United States. This role reports to the General Manager and can count on the support from our USA Headquarters located in Lithia, FL as well as the Swiss team headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland.
Your Profile
Our ideal candidate will:
1. Tenaciously generate sales with new and/or existing customers (hospitals & training centers), by:
1. Generating new leads and upselling opportunities together with Marketing, at conferences, by cold calling etc.
2. Performing demonstrations of VirtaMed products at customer site
3. Qualifying prospects systematically
4. Driving timelines, negotiations and closing business
5. Staying up to date on market knowledge, trends, and competitor information
2. Ensure customer satisfaction by working with colleagues for after-sales support
3. Work systematically with customers and internally, including leveraging of HubSpot CRM platform, sales operations etc.
4. Stay up to date on market trends & competitor information, enhancing our winning edge
Skills and Qualifications:
* You utilize and value the sales process to achieve sales goals.
* You are curious and genuinely interested in helping customers; your customers appreciate your communication style, commitment to deliver, and organized approach.
* 3+ years of experience in selling into the hospital market as a supplier or partner of complex products
* Clinical experience in orthopedics, general surgery, GYN or laparoscopy highly desirable
* Proven track record of generating new business, upselling, and cross-selling
* Experience in dealing with surgeon KOL’s, clinical leaders and other stakeholders in hospitals at various hierarchy levels.
* Experience with and understanding of a CRM platform (HubSpot preferred but not required).
* Enjoy sales development from finding customers to closing the deal. You love making initial presentations, presenting the value for the customer of your solutions, connecting product value to customer needs, and performing product demonstrations.
* You are motivated by new technology and understand the clinical value of simulation.
* You have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. A passport is also required.

Your work location can be flexible within the Northeast Region of the United States; we expect regular travel to our Florida office and significant travel (up to 75%) mostly in the Northeast Region of the USA. We offer a competitive base salary plus commission for this role.
