Are you a sales dynamo with a passion for driving results in the life sciences sector? Revvity is looking for an Account Manager/Sales Specialist (m/w/d) to lead our Platforms and Automation (selection of our Automated Liquid Handling, Integrated Lab Automation, Microfluidic Analysis, Detection Solutions) sales efforts across Austria and Switzerland. As part of our team, you will be responsible for achieving assigned sales quotas and goals for customers located within a defined geographic territory or account list, prospecting and developing business, responding to RFPs, and developing proposals for presentation to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Present Revvity capabilities in the marketplace, providing a first line of contact to our prospective customers.
2. Work to increase our market share and represent Revvity in existing accounts.
3. Execute a sales plan that is part of the region's and company's strategic objectives.
4. Direct growth-oriented activities directed at our current customer base, identification of new targeted accounts, participation in trade shows, and improvement of overall market share and profitability.
5. Account management of our current customer base and identification of new targeted accounts.
6. Utilize other sales and support resources effectively within the accounts.
7. Maintain an effective time and territory management plan.
8. Identify customer needs and trends and provide information about techniques and products.
9. Follow up inquiries about goods and services and maintain customer information utilizing approved information tools and technologies.
10. Timely updates to opportunity funnel and weekly forecast updates.
11. Cultivate partnerships with customers and other suppliers to solve customer problems.
Job Requirements:
1. Sales Skills: 3+ years sales experience required.
2. Technical Skills: Good understanding of our Platforms and Automation solutions.
3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills required.
4. Team Skills: You will be part of the DACH/EU Team who support each other.
5. Business & Organization Knowledge: Necessary to create a territory plan, a business plan, and a plan of key accounts.
6. Change Management: Flexibility in structure and organization is required.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in life sciences, preferably in molecular biology, biotechnology, or biochemistry.
2. Verbal and written proficiency in German and English; French or Italian are desirable.
3. Good presentation, communication, and inter-personal skills including negotiation skills.
4. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
