Polixis SA is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Partnerships to lead and expand our existing network of partners while developing new collaborations with industry players, including Core Banking Solutions, PMS, CRMs, and other RegTech/FinTech organizations. This role is pivotal in driving Polixis’ growth within the global FinTech and RegTech ecosystems. As a member of the Sales Leadership Team, you will shape and execute partnership strategies, build long-term relationships, and contribute to the overall sales effort. This is a full-time role. The position can be based either at Polixis’ headquarters in Geneva or remotely from anywhere in Europe. Frequent travel to Geneva, Switzerland, may be required.
Responsibilities
Deep dive into the existing partner network with the strategic objective of maximizing synergies and driving sales to shared end-users of partner solutions.
Partnership Development:
* Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic alliances with local and global stakeholders whose platforms or solutions serve end-users needing AML and KYC services.
Technical Bridge Role:
* Quickly understand partner technology stacks to align them with Polixis’ offerings.
* Serve as a technically adept liaison between Polixis’ CTO, DevOps, Product teams, and partners.
* Work closely with the sales team to convert partnerships into revenue-generating opportunities.
* Represent Polixis at international events, overseeing event selection, planning, and budget allocation.
Marketing and Brand Building:
* Collaborate with marketing teams to create joint campaigns, co-branded webinars, and thought-leadership initiatives that enhance Polixis’ market presence.
Qualifications
5–7 years of proven success in partnerships, business development, or strategic sales, preferably in Banking, RegTech, FinTech, or related sectors.
Technical Expertise
API Expertise:
* Solid understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.) and their integration into partner systems.
* Familiarity with API documentation, testing tools, and troubleshooting integration issues.
* Ability to articulate API benefits, use cases, and technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders.
Data Exchange Protocols:
* Knowledge of bulk data delivery methods like FTP/SFTP and associated security protocols.
* Awareness of data management processes, including ETL workflows and data validation.
* Understanding of compliance and data governance related to large-scale data exchanges.
RegTech & Compliance Knowledge:
* Strong grasp of regulatory requirements in financial services (e.g., AML, KYC, sanctions screening).
* Familiarity with compliance technologies and how RegTech solutions address regulatory challenges.
Soft Skills
* Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
* Strong research and analytical capabilities to identify and leverage market opportunities.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for collaboration, innovation, and results-driven success.
Education
* A Master’s degree in business, social sciences, computer science, or related fields is highly preferred.
Languages
* Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in French or German is a strong advantage.
