As a Senior Accountant, you will take full ownership of the accounting for the Spanish entity while supporting colleagues across the group in daily accounting operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the full financial accounting process for the Spanish entity.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Optimizing and further developing accounting processes, particularly in the implementation of a new ERP system.
- Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets, including reconciliations and intercompany transactions.
- Preparing and coordinating audits in close collaboration with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Ensuring compliance with local and international accounting regulations and supporting tax filings.

To be considered for this role, you should bring:
- Fluent Spanish (ideally C2) + fluent German (min B1) and fluent English (min. B2)
- A degree in finance, accounting, or business administration, or an equivalent qualification with a specialization in accounting.
- At least 5 years, ideally 8+ years of experience in financial accounting, ideally in an international company.
- Strong MS Office skills and experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
- A structured, analytical, and proactive approach, with a high level of responsibility and integrity.
