Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire front office area, including controlling daily tasks at the reception desk, ensuring optimal room occupancy and hotel occupancy, and coordinating between housekeeping, concierge, and guest relations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the front office area, including the reception desk, rooms, and amenities
* Control daily tasks, including arrivals and departures, and maintain accurate records
* Ensure optimal room occupancy and hotel occupancy through effective planning and coordination
* Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and guest relations to provide exceptional service to guests
* Manage complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
* Organize and coordinate all processes in the front office department, including staff planning and training
* Develop and implement strategies to ensure and maintain service quality in accordance with LQA standards
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field
* Minimum 2 years of experience in the upscale hotel industry, preferably in a leadership role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Fluency in German, French, and English; other languages an asset
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
