Key Responsibilities
* Cross-location project management for sales projects in the Service Division.
* Closely collaborate with the vehicle sales team to develop tenders that consider vehicle purchase and long-term maintenance.
* Prepare customer quotations, specifically coordinating quotation teams and work packages, quotation and time planning, progress checks, and quality assurance of quotation documents.
* Analyze contractual terms requested by customers, identify associated risks, and propose mitigation solutions by suggesting adjustments to contractual terms.
* Collaborate with external service providers (consultants, lawyers, etc.).
* Prepare and actively participate in sales meetings with management.
* Collaborate on process optimization.
Your Qualifications
* Techncial degree with further education (FH or higher).
* Project management, team leadership, and/or management experience is an advantage.
* Core competences in business administration and commercial matters.
* Ability to coordinate various departments along the value chain and create harmonious interaction.
* Team player.
* Industry experience in total solutions for complex services.
* Understand maintenance concepts and apply them in maintenance solutions for train fleets (or similar means of passenger transport).
* Experience with service tenders and contract awarding, understand their interrelationships, and recognize and assess risks.
* Excellent MS Office user skills.
* Very good knowledge of German and English (written and spoken); business fluent.
* Other languages are an advantage.
* Winning personality, independent, decisive, and responsible.
* Ability to come up with unconventional solutions.
* High flexibility, especially during the bid submission period.
* Willingness to travel.

As Bid Manager Service, you will pursue the overarching goal of successfully selling maintenance contracts for rail vehicles worldwide. You will play a key role in the sales success of Stadler Service by coordinating and leading interdisciplinary teams. You will be responsible for preparing offers, coordinating the team, and preparing and leading sales meetings with management.
