In the span of 18 to 24 months during your rotation in our Operations Leadership Program, you will gain valuable insights into different departments within Givaudan's operational functions. Through hands-on training and project management opportunities, you will enhance both your soft and hard skills. This program is perfect for graduates who have first professional experience and are eager to apply their core technical and project management skills in a dynamic, people-focused manufacturing setting. You will report directly to the Head of Operations, who will be your mentor throughout the program.
This program includes the following core deliverables:
Functional Rotations (18-24 months): Associates will be assigned to different rotations to provide them with an understanding of all areas critical to the Operations function. During each rotation, you will be assigned a "Departmental Sponsor/ Learning Leader" to oversee your time, work, and training in that area (Production, Supply Chain such as Logistics and Shipping, Plant Maintenance and Engineering, Supporting Departments such as Quality Control and Process Technology).
Project Management: Associates will be given technical projects and Continuous Improvement projects to either manage or participate in throughout the program.
Leadership Development: Involves the transition of the associate into a leadership role within Givaudan, where associates will begin developing advanced people-leadership skills and will manage all efforts related to the tactical daily operation of the department.
Your professional profile includes:
University Degree within Engineering, Natural Science, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline.
2+ years experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting such as pharma or food industry.
Project management experience is an advantage.
Hands-on approach.
Professional in communicating on different levels.
Expert in connecting with people and building relationships.
As an advantage, Lean / Continuous Improvement (CI) knowledge.
Business fluent in German and English, written and oral.
