Our Client
We are currently working with a client based in the canton of Bern, seeking a permanent position for this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement local quality procedures and work instructions that align with contractual requirements, local standards and Quality Management System.
* Conduct internal and external quality audits and reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.
* Prepare, collect, review and submit comprehensive data packages to customers, meeting their specific needs.
* Manage delivery and acceptance events, collaborating closely with customers to ensure seamless execution.
* Handle QA-related issues with local subcontractors and suppliers, maintaining effective communication throughout the process.
* Investigate and analyze non-conformances through Root Cause Analysis, coordinating approvals with customers as necessary.
* Perform Source Inspection at sub-contractor's facilities to verify compliance with quality standards.
* Conduct acceptance inspections on incoming goods to ensure they meet quality standards.
Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management is required for this role.
* Background in Electronics, Mechanics or System Engineering is an advantage, but not mandatory.
* Knowledge of Swiss Federal Acts requirements is also an advantage.
* Experience in quality conformity audits is essential for this position.
