We’re searching for an IT Support Engineer to join our IT team based in Zurich, Switzerland!

The Role
In this role, you'll be acting as 1st line support for the Zurich office and wider business, helping to provide office-based technical support across all infrastructure technologies for the website and the mobile app for PureGym Group. You will be the main escalation point in Zurich for support for our end users.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting and supporting the on-site Zurich office stakeholders and execs with their IT needs.
2. Supporting the businesses IT needs across all functions and technology platforms.
3. On-site escalation for the teams based in the Zurich office. On occasion, helping London and Copenhagen teams.
4. OS and hardware support across multiple platforms.
5. Mobile device (phone, tablet) support.
6. Communication application support such as Microsoft Teams, AudioCodes, etc.
7. MFP printers, audio-visual meeting rooms, and other device support.
8. Supporting a broad range of applications on multiple platforms such as SaaS, PaaS.
9. Working closely with third-party support functions to ensure the best possible end-user experience. Updating and creating knowledge-base documentation, challenging processes, and acting as an escalation point between parties.
10. Communicating with staff to keep them informed of incident progress.
11. Entering all work as service tickets including walk-ups and management of the IT Operations ticket queue.
12. In addition, from time to time, other IT support tasks and project work will be defined on an ongoing ad-hoc basis.
The Person
1. 4+ years’ experience in an IT support function working within a modern Microsoft 365 environment.
2. Fluent in both English and German languages.
3. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a service-focused approach. Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
4. Ability to manage their own time on a day-to-day basis, taking all elements into consideration (e.g., daily support needs, project work, etc.).
5. Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer care.
6. Ability to work independently on own initiative whilst at the same time recognizing the need to be a team player.
7. Ability to manage and coordinate changing priorities, understanding what good looks like, and capable of multi-tasking.
8. Strong communication skills tailored to the level of knowledge of the person whom you are dealing with at the time.
9. A flexible approach to work duties and hours with the ability to attend other sites when necessary.
10. You will be a punctual and well-organized person, able to manage multiple tasks.
11. This is a hybrid working role, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in our Zurich office.
