Product Obsolescence Management Expert
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Obsolescence Management Expert to join our team. This role will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the life cycle management of spare parts related to our Global services team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to and lead Customer Service (CS) inputs to ensure accurate last time buy information is relevant from CS teams.
* Work closely with sustaining teams to ensure knowledge and updates of part changes are known to global CS teams.
* Develop, maintain, and sustain an accurate spare parts lifecycle database.
* Closely coordinate with CS Business development teams to ensure database is linked with CSB tool.
* Ensure database tracks part successor, replacement rules, and implementation strategy.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering and/or Project Management.
* Experience working in services-related business or project environment.
* Strong knowledge of Gutor components and design philosophy.
* SAP – materials management and supply chain experience an advantage.
* Knowledge of product lifecycle management.
