Job Overview
TE's HR Solutions Partners function in a variety of Human Resources activities including employment and employee relations, recruiting, termination and data analysis/metrics. They implement Human Resources policies at the country, regional or global level partnering with management to drive company-wide programs and initiatives.
Your responsibilities
In this position, you will act as the strategic HR advisor to the Swiss Leadership team as well as a partner with the plant leadership teams to delivery the overall HR Experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Strategic HR Advisor to all functional leadership– Coach and Advisor to managers, leaders and HR partners.
• Working closely with other HR functions (HR services, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition) to effectively manage the successful delivery of professional HR support to drive the business imperatives.
• Understand and develop local HR strategies and priorities while balancing other functional HR priorities.
• Strategically execute all HR initiatives, ensure consistent implementation and feedback to project owners.
• As required, participate in regional/global project teams to ensure the Swiss HR perspective is not overlooked.
• Ensure regular review of all country policies, processes and employee compensation & benefits to keep them aligned with internal and external trends and business needs.
• Ensure the execution of the communications strategy for the site in Switzerland
• Ensure TE is fully compliant with local regulatory requirement and labor laws
• Foster a climate of positive and productive employee relations
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and implement tools and metrics to support execution and monitoring.
• Detects internal and environmental changes and can influence relevant stakeholders to respond to those changes effectively
What your background should look like:
• Bachelor’s degree or above is mandatory
• Relevant years of experience in HR generalist experience within a manufacturing organization with specific Swiss labor law experience (HR-Fachfrau/HR-Fachmann certificate is a must - or equivalent)
• Experience working in and influencing in a cross-functional global environment.
• Experience managing ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects and strategies.
• Experience in Employee Focused Communications would be a distinct advantage.
• Continuous improvement mindset to support service to the business and reach efficiency in own team.
• Experience thinking strategically and acting operationally
• Excellent communicator, facilitator, presenter & coach.
• Fluent in English and French
