Public Area Supervisor
As Public Area Supervisor, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:
1. Handle and assist in department training and orientation of all new hosts and regular trainings to Public Area hosts to improve job performance, meet guidelines and standards of service and operation.
2. Demonstrate to Public Area hosts how to perform each task in job description according to hotel service standard.
3. Maintain regular and effective communication with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of Public Area functions.
4. Monitor daily arrivals according to occupancy report in co-ordination with the Laundry and Housekeeping management.
5. Supervise and inspect the work of Public Area hosts ensuring high standard of order, hygiene, sanitation, cleanliness and aesthetic value throughout all service areas and assist when necessary.
6. Ensure Housekeeping office and all storage facilities of housekeeping are kept in good condition and order.
7. Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
8. Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
Qualifications
To execute the position of Public Area Supervisor, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:
* High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar hotel operational setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
* Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiarity with various hotel systems including POS, PMS and CRM platforms. Knowledge of hotel/resort policies on room allocation etc.
