Job Title: IT Workplace Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled IT Workplace Engineer to provide first-level contact and resolution for user issues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of MS Windows, Office, and cloud solutions, as well as experience with client-side networking, enterprise client deployment systems, and remote support techniques.
The role involves configuring PCs and laptops, managing mobile devices, and providing accurate reporting to management. Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute to automated PC updates and deployments, and participate in day-to-day system administration duties.
Key Responsibilities
1. Escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.
2. Track, route, and redirect problems to correct resources.
3. Configure PCs and laptops based on standards.
4. Configure user profiles (customization of user profile as per standard and user's requirement).
5. Mobile devices configuration management.
6. Research questions and resolve each interaction with customer satisfaction.
7. Provide accurate reporting to management.
8. Contribute to automated PC updates and deployments.
9. IT logistics (cabling, PC moves, stock/inventory management).
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* A Swiss CFC (IT, Electronic) or higher education; certifications an asset.
* 2-3 years of professional experience.
* Fluent in French and English (at least technical).
* Excellent customer service attitude and problem-solving abilities.
