Main Responsibilities Lead, mentor, coach and develop an international accounting team; Overseeing the timely and accurate accounting & consolidation of SHL Group; Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Swiss GAAP FER and local GAAP) and company policies; Advise and coordinate with CFO in setting policies and procedures to ensure accurate, and timely reporting and accounting. Own Group accounting standards and policies and the Group wide Accounting Manual; Chion Finance governance processes (in collaboration with regional teams); Assess current accounting operations and optimize it where needed incl ERP system, proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and execute on implementation; Ensure internal controls and robust processes that comply with Swiss Code of Obligations and the internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR); Prepare, review and analyze financial statements to ensure correctness and support and provide financial analyses; Supervise statutory audit of legal entities, ensure compliance and support SHL Group auditor requests; Support the CFO in projects (eg. M&A activities, strategic initiatives, etc.); Comply with federal, state, and local GAAP requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions; Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships, drive performance; Support the definition and implementation of a Group wide Finance vision and strategy as member of the Global Finance Leadership Team; Team up with the other Accounting & Finance team members; Comfortable in performing as h
