For one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies, we are seeking a Procurement Project Manager. You will leading a broad range of projects within the area of Diagnostics Direct Procurement but also in close collaboration with stakeholders and adjoining functions.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
-Develop and execute comprehensive procurement project plans, considering timelines, budgets, and resource requirements
-Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables
-Monitor and control project execution
-Monitor and mitigate risk – Monitor the progress of projects and proactively identify and report any projected risks to overall targets or timelines as well as potential mitigation strategies. Resolve issues and project risks on a timely basis and escalate issues and risks where appropriate
-Planning, design, and leadership of global Sourcing & Benchmarking projects
Must Haves:
-University degree, with Engineering, Business, Finance or Life Sciences degree preferable
-High proficiency in English
-5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience delivering measurable value in strategic sourcing, enterprise cost reduction, and/or operational efficiency projects and/or from digitalising Procurement processes, preferably within global Pharma or Medical
-Device manufacturing company (****)
-Familiarity with different project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall (****)
-Demonstrated understanding of some / all of the major direct spend categories and potential cost levers or market fundamentals (****)
-Strong background in strategic sourcing and supplier management in new product development and introduction in the medical device/pharmaceutical industry, or other highly regulated industry
-3+ years of project management experience including risk management, project reporting, and delivering quantitative and qualitative results in complex environments (****)
